Yeah i was thinking about making him a pally at a certain poiint as well. May do that. Also fits. Can he easily be made a oathbreaker?
The way i see it: He broke his oath by making the pact. He started as a pally then lock. Also fits because i think ill do 2pal/10lock. Maybe 2pally/3bard/7lock. Seems good.
About him being a bard.
The blade of frontiers is a nice nickname for a traveling bard. High charisma stat. His look/armor. Look how he started the game at the grove fight. How bardy is all that.
Can see how it also fits a renown soldier

It didn’t take me long to accidentally break his oath, so I’m guessing it is quite easy. I don’t want Wyll to be an oathbreaker though, so I reloaded and am playing more cautiously.
I’m also doing 2 pally / 10 lock. Currently 2 / 6. Wyll has become quite the powerhouse. I’m using gear that buffs hybrid characters (extra melee damage after using a cantrip, for example) and the executioners ring. That provides a guaranteed crit after he kills something, which is what I save my warlock slot + smites for. He does well over 100 damage in one hit. Good times.
