Currently does not scale with Wisdom stat. Also if you're wielding a weapon and a shield, it replaces your shield in combat so you have to waste your action on your first turn putting your gear back to the way it was.

I've just cast flame blade for the first time on my dual-wielding character and noticed it replaced her off-hand weapon. Which wasn't then reinstated after the spell ended, which ideally it would be.

Can confirm you're only getting the proficiency bonus. The weapon also doesn't have the Finesse tag like regular scimitars on it but that might be intentional? But yeah having a submenu to choose what slot it goes into would be great (similar behaviour for Shillelagh would be great as well.)

Ya. Not a HUGE deal lol but it should be spellcasting modifier (WIs) + Proficiency to hit. And I do know that its not supposed to have the finesse or other weapon properties because it goes off of spellattack rolls and just deals flat spell damage. Unless Larian changes it, which they very well may. But then you could smite with it and that would be busted
