Sales have to be huge. This game is STILL on top of global charts on Steam.
Reviews are not stopping. 34 reviews in and it's not going below 97 on Metacritic.
If I had to guess based on the very poor data out there, the sales are around the following numbers:
5.2M units sold, per video game insights.
10M+ units sold, per steamspy.
I think 5.2 works as a lower bound, given the game sold 2.5M units in early access, so only a few million to achieve it while being on top of the global charts. The 10M+ is harder to believe, so its works as an upper bound. But who knows, maybe 10-20M is a good guess.
