Please, no spoilers as I am not done with the story

So, since in Act 1, I got stuck on the Grymforge because the boss died on it (and since I didn't had the second ore yet so I did not tried it at that moment), I saved my game, moved on, then came back later on to find out I could not forge the thing a second time.

So I searched on the forum and saw a lot of people telling how they went around (but loading back a save would have made me lose 15h hours of gameplay). So I moved on, hoping a patch would fix that.

Now, I am just in front of the point of no return in Act 2 and I saw in one of the post for Grymforge that the Underdark, among other things, will not be available once I go over.

Knowing this, should I wait for a patch or should I move on. I mean, I understand these items are powerful but I am not sure I want to wait, especially if there is no ETA on the patch that will fix this.

What would you do in my place?

Personally, I'd just carry on. I'm sure you'll find as good or better items in Act 2 anyway.

Items with a better AC? Yes, I already did. With better features, it is hard to get "immunity to critical hits" for sure.

I could use the helmet instead and use a better armor. Shall see as I just hit level 10 prior to the no return point in Act 2.
