I've been running into these errors myself ever since game launched.

I played the game since Early Access Patch 3 on an old computer, I started to notice some problems during roughly Patch 8 where terrain was randomly turning blue/black so since I had that computer a long time I said that BG3 was gonna be the game I'll get a new PC for.

Fast forward to now. I bought a brand new PC delivered 3 weeks ago, I have roughly 5 programs installed on it so far, BitDefender AV, Steam, Valorant, Apex Legends and now Baldurs Gate 3.

Specs are i9 13900KS CPU, Rog Strix 4090 OC GPU, 128GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM, Windows 11 Pro all updates installed. 2 x SN850X SSDs and a 1600W Corsair PSU, I went overkill to ensure this new PC would last me a while and be able to play most modern games at max settings.

Imagine my surprise when I can play Apex and Valorant at 300+ FPS for hours on end with no problems but Baldurs Gate struggles to play without crashing to these errors for more than a few hours, the actual gameplay of the game is fine Typically always 165 FPS unless in Act 3 or Crazy effects on the screen then it can dip to as low around 90fps, however whenever these two errors (as they occur regardless which I use, DX11 / Vulkan) happen there is no rhyme or reason or recurring theme to it (although I notice it happens more frequently in character creation?) the games performance does not 'degrade' as it progresses towards a crash, it can be running smooth and just randomly occur. I even ran DDU to completely remove my driver when updating to the latest .99 variant to ensure it would hopefully be clean but it didn't fix anything. I've ran 3DMark and FurMark stress tests for over 4 hours each and both ran smoothly with no problems and hardware was reporting fine.

I sent 4 crash and 'gold' log files to support on the 2 day of the game being released as I had never ran into a similar problem on my previous 8+ year old PC but this one I barely own for a month is having problems, I received and email two nights ago from support telling me "Hey Thanks for contacting us, did you know we've released 3 hotfixes since then? Are you still having a problem? please contact us if so!" So I sent them again more logs that happened on that same day saying I am indeed having the problem, I imagine I'll have to wait another week to hear anything from them which I hope wont be just some copy and pasta response as when I contacted them about my Early Access issue they responded within hours and were so helpful but I guess they are very inundated at the moment suffering from success.

Can but only hope Larian look to optimize this, been looking forward to enjoying this game (and I really am crashes aside) but I feel bad about doing any multiplayer runs for friends for the possible looming threat of a crash.
