Just wanted to log my supreme complaint to Steam / Larian for seeing to it I lost 31 hours and 56 minutes of play time
Can I just ask what problem has caused you to lose your character? Is it the incompatible saves? If so, then it's possible this will be fixed when the hotfix is re-released so I'd not start all over again yet.
Unless you've seen something I haven't saying that our saves are incompatible for good?
