Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Exclamation points removed for quests?

Silly issue really, but I can't find any reason for the exclamation points attached to quests in the journal. When I click on them they are removed but can't figure out the function. Anyone know?

Means you haven't read the updated status of the quest. Once you read it, it goes away, because you've read the updated status of the quest.

My beef is that the 'hide completed quests' tick box doesn't stay ticked.
