I took that Wish of hers as her being provoked and lashing out emotionally. As she's not fully divine, I suspect her Wish has costs/risks involved.
As for the relic, again, I suspect her wishing our end possibly meant it's once more lost to the world and her searching must begin anew. Not much improvement on the status quo.
My daughter and I really enjoyed that scene, 'I told you do, Dad!'
