I like the pacing of leveling and definitely don't want level restrictions to items. Barbarian is strong, but not really any stronger than any of the other combat oriented classes, like paladin, fighter, sorcerer or warlock. What we need is a non-trivial difficulty setting, where the mobs scale up to be serious challenges even for moderately optimized or combat focused parties. There should be a difficulty setting where you hit actual progress blockers if your party is especially weak - too bad so sad, your fighter is going to need to equip a weapon and your wizard will have to cast a spell, you're not getting through this fight until you embrace that. As it is you can kind of monkey at the typewriter your way through tactician, at least as far as I've gotten into the game, which admittedly is not much further than you could go in EA.
