1. Raphael, act 3.
The whole thing with breaking into Raphael's house - I just could not believe the game allowed me to do that. I was convinced that I am presented with one of possible ending routes, when the devil offered the hammer for the crown and that's it. And I also stumbled upon this quest almost randomly - probably due to a bug that rendered almost every note and book in the game empty. I mean I realized there must ba a connection between the shopkeeper, pentagram upstairs and Raphael, so I started digging. And boy, was it worth it.

Shame the crazy dwarf lady which I freed died though.

2. Act 2, Nightsong.
Nightsong. What a set piece. I loved the entirety of act 2, but that bit was pretty amazing visually and I liked getting deeper into Shadowheart's story. This is where one of the main themes of the entire game started to show itself more prominently through different, deeper means, than the tadpole premise.

3. Act 2, the finish line.
The ending of Act 2 - Geiger would be proud. It was incredibly creepy, I loved the introduction to the rest of the villans and I the fight with Kethric was pretty awesome - even though I consider it the easiest boss fight in the game so far.

4. Late Act 3.
The fight with Sarevok - not because of a tie in to the previous games, which I think was kinda forced and on the nose - but beacuse of what's my favourite thing in the entire game overall, which is the freedom of choice in approaching gameplay. Normally you either attack right away or fail the trial and are faced with the fight. Sarevok, three sisters and three guardians from the back. You can also pass the trial, which moves you to the second room, which also leaves you with a tough fight. What I did was convince Sarevok of being worthy, wait for him to turn my back on me and attacked him before he opened the door to the next room. This way I only had to deal with him, and then the sisters who were then locked out behind the door. Made it easy for myself and I loved that the game allowed me to do that.
