Ok, just have to say it. there has to be a way to get Hope to go with you on the quest. She is by far my favorite ally so far and would be an unbelievable full companion. This game can do with a fellow optimist and well you have to go to a dark place to find her. KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!!!

There's always hope.

I'm sort of unsure what she is, but suspect that once she's recovered she'd be ridiculously powerful ? maybe she could hang out in your camp and join the final battle like others do, the reasons she gives for staying in her house work pretty good? I HOPE she turns up in the next game or DLC standalone adventure or something in a Elminster role? maybe if an adventure module focused on exploring the planes/hells or something her house could be the basecamp/camp?
