So in my personally opinion there is no canon Dark Urge because he is designed to be your avatar. There are other characters in the world with that origin as well.
So spoilers ahead:
When you enter Baals throne with a custom character, a dead white dragonborn lies on the ground. If you consider that character as the protagonist we are playing, than it also canon that he is dead. If he is really the protaginist we are playing than larian should have hided what race he is or the best way would have been not including him at all in the story from the get go. Whats the point to choose a race if the canon race is a dragonborn?
