Are you able to play the game in DX11 without issues?
Clearly it shouldn't be crashing anyway, but here's hoping you have a workaround until there's a fix. If the game isn't already prompting you to complete a crash report when it falls over, this definitely sounds worth reporting to Larian if you haven't already (the Report a Bug link at the top of the launcher will take you to the right place on their support site).
