As in title i have now a duplicated Travelers Chest in camp
I had a gamecrash on 18.08.2023 and was asked by crashreporter to verify files over steam at next start, which i did let it do.
After that i started game.
Settings where resettet and i got the EULA shown, also about crossaving was asked and that my digital deluxe items await me in camp.
When i actually visited the camp i saw two travellers chest there side by side.
The chest was duplicated but in another color.
Within again all Digital Deluxeitems.
Also the "Send to camp" funciton is now fixed to the new Travellers chest.
Have to relocate all items in first chesdt into the new one.
But im a bit afraid that a future patch could delete the Travellers chest and then i lose access to everything i have put into it.
My guess is that the Verify Gamefiles made thew game think that i reinstalled it anew.
Probably somewhere at crashtime or after it, a logfile which controlls all items found by player was corruppted and was downloaded therefore again. Totally fresh without any memory.
Thats what makes a duplicate somehow for a new Chest.
And because the position where the original one stood is occupied, the new one is set beside it.
Even if theres another container from somewhere out of the game placed there. Then they clip together.
How should we people with several duplicated Travellers chest play the game now.
Are we in danger to lose Access to our items who are sent to camps chest?
