minor act 2 spoilers
while i wait for larian support to answer, i've encountered another quest breaking bug. basically it doesn't break the game, but softlocks you into a certain route because you can't do something ie talk to the desired npc, etc. last time it happened i had broken
wulbren and the tieflings out of the prison by opening the jail cell bars with the lever. then they all froze right outside the door to the docks. i couldn't even right click on them to pop up the talk option.
after long resting it marked them all as dead in the quest log which was disappointing because i went to all the trouble to kill all the guards in their way so they could escape alive. i decided to move on because i want to play more.
this time after killing ketheric and loading into moonrise towers again, aylin's conversation won't start. she has the popup menu and the game says "(Character Name) has started a conversation)" but nothing happens.
i can talk to other npcs (such as withers or arabella) and my companions. and i have tried using my companions to talk to her to the same result.
I have tried: saving and reloading, closing game and reopening, clearing the cache, verifying game files, long rest, teleporting away and back. if anyone has any other suggestions to try i'd appreciate it.
the main reason i want to talk to her is so i can progress shadowheart's character quest, and i'm afraid if i leave the area it'll somehow softlock me from future aylin interactions.
