The bug report to Larian is definitely the way to draw their attention and get the problem properly logged and tracked. I'm afraid bumping your post here isn't going to push the problem up Larian's priority list, just spam other forum members' Active Posts feed which is why we request that people don't do it.
I do hope for your sake that there is a fix soon, or that someone else might have had a similar issue and found a workaround.
