I’ve tried reproducing this a few times and it’s the same each time, though I haven’t tested what is exactly the issue. Releasing Shadowheart from her pod, knocking unconscious, and looting her causes the game to crash to desktop after completing the tutorial. I’m not sure if it’s having her unconscious, having the artifact, or a different item from her inventory in mine that causes this. My character was wearing her underwear. Maybe that was it?
If anybody is wondering why I’m knocking Shadowheart unconscious: in a multiplier game with friends where we are trying minimal save-scumming, she caught me trying to pickpocket her. We didn’t want to kill her, so we knocked her out.
