has seriously put a damper on my desire to go through with the whole thing, so I do hope that Larian can implement, and soon, an update that adds some additional options, of which many great ones have already been mentioned in this thread.

I can only hope that after the PS release (and Xbox release, and likely a break for some if not all the devs), given the new cut content datamines, we'll see impact with the patches in the future, and hopefully a Definitive Edition release in the distance.
