Since she is a companion, they should simply make it possible to;
meet her in ACT II by knocking her out during the raid or within the goblin camp and then saving her from Moonrise for failing the Absolute, at which point she'd join the camp.
This way there'd be an actual legitimate way not to miss out on her story.
