It's kinda funny how there's this whole thing about lying to the Emperor that you didn't take the deal, and if you don't manage to do it, the Emperor is all 'haha, good luck releasing Orpheus, you are barred from the astral plane' -- which means nothing because you can't go back there until he rescues you near the end anyway.
