That makes no sense at all because the Dark Urge has nothing to do with tadpoles and this origin character was always the same his entire life before every getting the tadpole. The Dark Urge is 1000% entirely unrelated to tadpoles. There is a source to it and a reason why it is there, but it's not in any way related to tadpoles or illithids or any of that. It's also so intrinsically tied to BG1 and BG2 that it's almost certainly not something they changed at the last minute where it's like they wanted to do something else but switched to this. Whatever you thought you saw in early access was not in any way related to the dark urge.
There's a scene in the early access dream sequence that is very reminiscent of the stuff the Dark Urge origin got in the final game. It's not caused by the tadpole (in fact, it's directed against it) but you only got to see it if you used the tadpole because that's what triggered these dream scenes in early access.
Nausea twists your stomach, but it's hunger, not revulsion. Something inside you clamours for blood, for death, and only the tear of flesh will do. It wants her.

3. I want to rip you open. I can't help it.
Say what you want but this is extremely similar to some of the Dark Urge content they put in the final game.
It feels like Tav may have been a Bhaalspawn (the violent urges to rip the dream vistor apart feel appropriate enough) but I don't think Tav was ever the Dark Urge, if that makes sense. I'd say DU was created when that stuff was split off Tav.
