I agree completely. And to add to that and what Zerubbabel said, every mythological text was written with an agenda.

I think OP just put every cliche post of Steam into one big post, but we could just ignore that and have a nice discussion.

It makes sense that nowadays fantasy is more diverse. Great fantasy authors from all over the world have written books based on their mythologies that are considered classics now, so fantasy changed and that is good. It gives us more great stories to explore.
And as was mentioned, the Sword Coast was always very liberal.
