One of the things I like to try in RPGs is having a party where everyone is the same class and working with the strengths and weaknesses that come with doing that.

Could someone please rank the classes if all 4 party members were the same class? (No multiclassing but sub class can be different).

Thank you!

4 Spore Druids can basically summon a small army. Will it be tedious to control that many characters? Maybe. Will it be awesome? Definitely.

Actually answer:
The game hasn’t been out long enough for many people to have tried this, but 4 paladins or 4 rogues sounds promising on paper.

4 clerics might be interesting. The wide range of subclasses should provide decent diversity.

I think a party of four bards would give very nice roleplaying opportunities. Each playing a different instrument of course. And you will have to create a thread in the Suggestions & Feedback forum clamouring for Larian to add bass guitars. But then you can go all out: have a party of two men and two women and call them Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid. Or have four long haired blokes that like to dress similarly. Or have all four of them covered in tattoos and dressed in leather. Or be a high elven hippy group in robes, spreading love and harmony throughout the land, killing no-one and eating only vegetarian food.

Battletoads.

The classes that work best for a single-class party are the ones that have a diversity of build options. Probably the best option is Druid, because they can melee, heal, and cast spells. Clerics with different subclasses would probably also work out well.

But with how reliant this game is on doing huge amounts of damage to make it through combat, you could easily do 4 Fighters, Barbarians, or Paladins (one of each Oath, maybe?).
