I mean, BG2 had you transform into the slayer at the end of Spellhold and try to murder your loved one, and you could do nothing about it... Never saw anyone complain about that...
Same here, there's one little interaction that you have no control over at the beginning of the game, everything else is 100% up to you.
Anyway, last time posting here, people can indeed enjoy the game however they want. As a fan of BG1&2, I just think Dark Urge is amazing and it needed to be said
