Yep, looking very strongly like the "flow" they improved was just one line of interactivity when you rescue her, she will now properly acknowledge you differently if you slept with her upon rescue. Nothing else has changed about the non-functioning romance flags or her personal story. The only other tweak of this nature was for Dark Urge interactivity and I don't have a playthrough started of that yet.
