Not letting Shadowheart kill Nightsong because she was innocent and seemed like a powerful ally, but letting Astarion ascend to grand vampire glory because that also makes a powerful ally and who even cares about useless vampire spawns even if some were children?
Those bounty hunters sounded like lawful stupid as usual, vampires should be killed but not their kids after they've been turned into vampire spawns.
-7000 vampire spawns, +1 vampire god.
And also like eating every tadpole like gummy candies for powers but refusing to give into the dark urge.

I to this day don't know the corect solution to the vampire spawn dilemma, though. The underdark might have just gotten a lot more dangerous.
Maybe they'll build a civilisation. Maybe they'll die.

Maybe they'll build a civilisation. Maybe they'll die. If theres no moral high ground, then the Chaotic Neutral choice is 'what will benefit me the most'. between 7000 vampire spawns or 1 super vamp, theres no correct 'good' choice, both are bad. So then the decision has to be self serving. Or '1 super vamp is easier to control / contain / kill than 7000 spawns' even - lesser of two evils, but I'd say that is more of a True Neutral reason. No way I was going to let 7000 vampire spawns just roam free, and killing them also gives me more power if I can keep Astarion under my thumb.
Saving the kids because kids should be saved and they might learn to be better is a Chaotic Good choice. Saving them because you agreed to for the bounty hunters is the Lawful choice. I said I would save them initially thinking they might still be unturned, but after finding out they were all turned into spawns I had to break that promise, neither lawful nor good, but not due to an evil decision either

One thing that surprised me was that Astarion can't bite undead. I was making an effort to have him bite Cazador so that he could become a full vampire. Surely, there's a middle ground between being a spawn and being king vampire, right? But it seems like he gets to be one or the other. I just wanted him to have a chance to drink Cazador's blood. Weird that such isn't an option.

If I tried to play a Paladin in this game, I would end up breaking my oath in like 3 seconds flat. Both Lawful Good and any Evil alignments are completely beyond my scope. I also wouldn't ever save a goblin or an undead unless it somehow helped me as Astarion does so I'm not Chaotic Good.
