Is it just me, or by the time you're confronting Ketheric he seems to regret everything he has done and just want his family back?

The guy, to me, sounded like the saddest half-elf in Faerun ever. And i think it was nice how Larian put him a place by the end that he question everything he has done and how wasn't worthy.

I swear for a time I truly believe we could save him and he'd join as member, hahaha, after a big fight with Myrkul.

Reading all his diaries and paying attention to his story, Ketheric wasn't fully in on the whole destroy Baldur's Gate thing, conquer the world.

He just wanted his child back (Isobel), and if he had others he doesn't mention, and wife. He was just tired of it all and seemed like he wanted peace.
