So im starting a pnp dnd campaign as a player on tuesday and figured id share my fun build. Hopefully someone can use it!

-Be a dwarf. (Mountain dwarf especially)
-Get light and medium armor proficiency.
-CON and STR+2 as well.
-You gain a few martial weapons and a tool proficiency! Background gives another 1

-At lvl 4, get heavy armor proficiency via the Heavily armoured feat. Raises STR to 16 to. Or at lvl 8 if you can wait that long. Int is fairly low so maybe raising int at lvl 4 and waiting for lvl 8 to get the heavy armor is a better idea... Incase you get hvy armor later on raise int and str at lvl 4 for a 16 in both. OR. Alternatively get both 2 ASI points in int. Heavy armor feat gives +1 str as well. So raising int to 17 at lvl 4 allows you to take a half feat at lvl 12 to get int 18.
Your a dwarf MAGE wearing full plate. GG! You can smack things ontop of your spellcasting!
Recommend starting stats from my end:
Str15 (13+2=15)
Dex14 (14+0=14) Gives+2 AC until you get heavy armor, raises initiative and some weapons use Agi I suppose) but figured id give the specific reason why dex is fairly high for a Dwarf

Con14 (12+2=14)
Int15 (15+0=15)
WIS8(8+0=8)
CHA10(10+0=10)
One could swap WIS or CHA depending on preferences.
These stats are used because we play with standard array. If we werent id raise STR to 14(+2) for a STR of 16 starting out! Id lower CHA to 8 to achieve this. In that case raising INT early on is a must because even more STR is actually kind of counter productive for your class skills as your spellcasting is done by Int which is lower then a secondary stat.... Getting chef at lvl 4 could be nice to raise INT and getting some roleplay benefits at the same time could also be an option

Well im off to send my characters sheet! Will let people know after tuesday how it went if they want to know
