I'm playing with my gf and she controls all the NPCs we encounter even though I created the game. Is there a way to assign what player controls what NPCs? I found in Google and YouTube that you can do that in the Session Menu, but we can't find that menu either. It doesn't show up when either of us hits ESC. Any hints?

Hit ESC and click the Multiplayer button. There will be a screen with four columns, your portrait at the top of one, her portrait at the top of the second one, and the 3rd and 4th columns empty. The two NPCs will be showing under your girlfriend's portrait. Click one and click the arrow to move the NPC over to your column.

FWIW I had the same problem. I was like "What is the session menu!?" I kinda stumbled over this by chance, glad I finally did.
