I was wondering if I play as a Rock Gnome what does Artificers lore mean? Is it exactly the same as expertise for Bards but only history skill specific? Do you need to select History as a proficiency to then get double the proficiency or do you just get it automatically when you do your race selection (I am waiting for PS5 so just planning my run through)? Does this mean that if I select the sage background I have just wasted a skill? Is there any way for these things to stack?
