I'm still at act 1 but this game to me is a 9~10 out of 10 an worth every penny I paid. (It's not perfect, I could fill a forum of little changes I would like to see. But overall the game is great)

The game is top notch and I think, sale numbers, player count, most critic reviews, ect. already proves this and regardless of what doubters think Larian has made it's money & Fans (And then some) but all this good press creates a nice big happy elephant with a nice red target for the people above.

If BG3 was just a Meh game, 60%~70% game that made no splash and only a dedicated core of fans supported it. I bet 3/4 of these people wouldn't even bother commenting on it.

The popularity just leads to hack reviewers and "Game Journalists" to write negative review and so on, in order to capture the fringes who didn't like the game (Hey, they need representation too) and some might have a point here or there and if Larian listens some of those critiques it might help the game...

The only thing that slightly annoys me is, I think this leads to some circles to make a concerted effort to only bring Bg3 down to fit their own agenda. I mean, you didn't like, that's fine leave your 0 vote somewhere but I really think some people are just creating bots/fake accounts to spam 0's and that I think the game doesn't deserve. I think Metacritic is a prime example...

Bg3 has a 96 on metacritic, your opinion on this seems strange to me

There is no one spamming 0s

Iv not seen loads of negative articles? I guess some do?

Nearly everything is posative about bg3 (rightly so )

If you are only in act 1 your gonna feel its amazing act 1 is polished to dimond level.

I think this is my primary problem lots of players think act 2 and 3 will be the same quality

Act 2 is imo the worst natively, act 3 the buggiest feels rushed in spots, and the reactivity demnishes a whole lot

3 is better then 2, but it feels rushed compaired to act 1

And the ending feels like its got loads of cut content

Still bg3 is amazing its an insane game, i dont think feeling this way makes me a hater?

Its ok to think bg is the best and deservers nothing but praise but like you say your only on act 1, maybe when you finsh it youll feel more like i do. Maybe not who knows

But yeah nearly everyone has reviewed the game with out finshing it, thats why its getting such a great reception, imo

Well everyone is free to their opinons, and I don't specifically recall calling anyone haters. But there are some posts, I would qualify as made by haters or trolls being trolls. Steam forums are the best place to see them, but they also pop-up on GOG forum from time to time. If you look a Gamerants and opions pieces of forbes and places like that you see the what I consider ( Unjust/ bad articles)

Not everyone has to like the game, ex: I don't like Basketball video games I wouldn't go a Basketball NBA2K and say "Ohhhh this was the most horrible game of the year" or say "How is this trash is above Shadowrun"

As I said above, some of the feedback could be used for positive change (Ex: the inventory management or being able to bring a 5th tempoairy NPC on multiplayer) , I also heard some people mention 2 act & 3 act are less good, stuff being cut ( those people must hate Christopher Nolan movies).

I've sneaked on You Tube a bit ( I know bad habit) and saw some playthrough and I don't think there anything I saw that will take away from my overall enjoyment.

As for my metacritic comment the game was at 97% critic / 93% user on the top tier. Now it's 96% / 90% but If you look at some of the higher reviews some have only 33 critic reviews ( Versus 66 for BG3, so it's easier to be on top if you have less critic reporting) and on the the users you can easily see 10~12 scores of 0 one after the other in a block with similar explanation.

Maybe I'm a little biast but I think BG3 deserves a top 10 spot and not is the 30 something spot.
