Not unless and until real and trustworthy sales numbers are available. And sorry but Steam Spy numbers do not qualify as such even in the slightest. My own estimate is that sales are around 6 M right now, and will eventually end up around 10 M. And my estimate is as good as anyone else's estimate out there right now, which is to say they all are estimates that don't have any real data behind them. <shrug>

And my final point would be that cRPG is such a hugely niche category of games with very minimal popularity such that being the "bestselling" game in that category doesn't really mean much at all. The "bestselling" cRPG is still going to be meh in sales compared with an average AAA action RPG. And since the defining characteristic of BG3 is *not* that it is a cRPG but rather that it is a AAA game, the only proper and fair way to compare it would be to compare it with other AAA RPGs. And the moment one does that, BG3's sales numbers instantly go from being amazing to being meh. I mean consider that even with all the silly fussing and whining about CP2077 at its release, that game (after all "refunds") still ended up selling 15 M in its first month! That's AAA RPG sales.
