Hi Everyone,

I just had a few question. After the toll house I found a cave.

After disarming a bunch of traps, I found 2 Zents fighting Gnolls. I helped the Zhentarim kill the Gnolls. The Gnolls auto killed the first Zhen ( Nothing I could do saved him)

1. Even when I asked to help no string attaches. Rugan tried to push Shadowheart of a cliff and then attacked my main. Is there a way to keep \\\\\rugan from attacking?

2. Flind the leader of the Gnolls had a parasite. Playing a Cleric of Helm, I resisted the lure and the parasite scuttled away. I wanted to kill it but it was too fast, is there a way to kill the parasite?

After talking with Dead on the 2 Zhents, I learned of Waukeen's rest , the password, ect... and wanted to find it.

But I went in the wrong directions and found the goblin camp


One of the goblins told me the inn was burning and everyone died or was dying.

1. Do I have a time limit to find the inn now that I know it's on fire? Because that Gnoll Flind really did give a hell of a beating to my characters and I would like to do a long rest

The inn is still there and a certain activity there even triggers a quite important quest line (bring Wyll). It's just West of the cave where Rugan was. Whether you reach it before the goblins or after, it shouldn't make a difference to the state it is inn (pun intended).

1. Yes, I've never had him go hostile. Maybe you hit him with an AOE spell during the fight and turned him hostile?

2. Yes, I've never seen any parasite scuttle away too fast. I don't think this affects anything one way or the other story-wise.

There isn't a time limit as far as I know but long rests do sometimes affect things. Bit of a spoiler

There is no fighting at Waukeen's Rest just lots of fire/burning.
