Well, because I'm not that much of a suck up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> I'm not going to say Marian but Louis Royo as a great painter-artist. I also like some of the World of Darkness/Vampire TM artists. But there are so many unknown artists with great work, just look at all those sites offering a place for those artists. (I think it was kiya on the previous forum who posted a great link to one of those sites ...)
About music ... well, sorry, but I think one of the "singers"/people I dislike the most is Eminem ...
People whom I have respect for are people like the guys from Metallica who have been "in the business" for quite some time, although they evolved to a more commercial style ... other great artists are the local, non-pop artists. People who make their own music without really caring what the mainstream is listening to ... so again I have to mention Laďs here ...
