Same thing with looting corpses. Becomes a big chore.
The Enhanced Edition of BG1 and BG2 had a nice little workaround for this, with a mode where it brought up an inventory bar on the bottom with all the 'drops' within a certain range, that you could pick up just by clicking the item on the bar. Something like that would be VERY helpful in this game.
And yeah, being able to earmark additional default bags for types of items would be super helpful as well.
