I've been playing BG3 on the Steamdeck some of the time and everything has been fine until today.

My mouse cursor works fine on the deck itself and throughout the Steamdeck OS and menus but today, when I load the game, it won't switch over from controller layout and let me use my mouse. The cursor appears in game for a quarter of a second on the initial Larian logo screen but doesn't come back after that for me.

have you already tried to switch contols with options menu?u can select between auto/keyboard/controller setups.
If choosen the keyboard one, it will use mouse and keboard.
