We're talking about regular NPCs though, not party members.

Naturally for party members we just open their inventory and equip it, but NPCs which wear underwear and are not part of the camp yet; such as Minthara/Halsin/Jaheira who can die before joining the camp will not drop their own underwear when killed. They have to be knocked out first for the underwear to appear as loot, otherwise it's lost forever.

I'll be sure to *bonk* her on the head and steal her undies if she has any!!

There was a tiefling tailor. His name was Kannon. He tells you as much when you use Speak with Dead on him.

On another note, do the hirelings we can recruit have custom clothes of their own that we could try on? I'm tempted to recruit a couple just to see...

Well maybe it turns out that Kannon had a brother, also named Kannon, who is equally as talented at tailoring as he was.

Problem solved.

He doesn't have a brother. But he does have a sister. She is named Arka.
