Nope, strong disagree.

Unless you plan to play the game only ONCE of course.

I would go plain class (no multiclassing yet) and regular character (no origin or dark urge).

Just play your favorite race and favorite class.

The only tip I have is take a good look at the rulesystem and plan ahead. Especially plan what feats to take.



Playing Dark Urge as first playthrough is like playing Vampire Bloodlines immediate als Malkavian.

Again, I dont say its bad to play as The Dark Urge.

I say if you want to play the game multiple times, personally I would do it in degrees and not immediately go for extra content like The Dark Urge or Origin characters or multiclasses.

Malkavian by the way is my favorite vampire clan in Vampire Bloodlines. I would not recomment it for newcomers though.
