I don't seem to be getting companion feedback/comments to events happening to my Dark Urge in Act 3? On arriving at Wyrm's Rock, I went to the inauguration and Gortash revealed to my party that I was the former leader of the cult of Bhaal, that he and I orchestrated the Absolute plot, and that I was deposed.
None of my companions have anything to say about this, except Karlach, who accuses me of having been in league with Gortash all along and then tells me she needs time and doesn't want to speak to me. Seems fair, but back at camp she's back to her usual "hey soldier!" and nothings come up since then. Everyone else just has their usual "how can I help" comments and no new dialog options.
I was expecting a major confrontation from all my party members, but no one has had any comments at all. I was so looking forward to seeing how I could persuade my companions that I've changed, that I would never do something like that now! I tried playing on, and went through the murder tribunal, confronted Sarevok who also reveals I'm a disgraced Bhaalist to the party. No one has any comments this time either.
Is this bugged? I cannot for the life of me find answers anywhere about this, but these are some pretty major story revelations for my origin that no one is saying anything about. After hearing comments from everyone on everyone elses stories all the time, it makes me feel sad that Dark Urge doesn't seem to have the same responsiveness in my game. I have to assume something is not right and the dialogs are just not triggering. I had to reload and long rest several times before Wyrm's Rock to even be able to reveal to the party that I'm Bhaalspawn, and even then for some reason I couldn't tell Jaheria, who it seems most relevant and most helpful to tell.
While I was trying to get the dialog to trigger, in one test Jaheira confronted me about being Bhaalspawn and promised to watch over me, but in another she didn't have anything to say at all and the cutscene didn't happen.
Is anyone else having this issue?
