So at the end of act II when you have the option to take Jaheira down the mindflayer colony to kill Ketheric, I did just that I took her with me for the fight. But no matter what, after I loot the netherstone she gives a speech about how our values no longer align and permanently leaves the party. So no idea what that's about.
But when I returned to camp I found her there, I can talk to her about what happens on our travels but when I ask her to join me, nothing happens she doesn't join the party. I think in the game files she is both out and in the party somehow. So I come to the question: is the a game file I can open and edit her companion status such that the game doesn't think she permanently left the party?
Also of note, the bug occured the day before patch 2 and is still persisting after it. And no, I'm not willing to go back to the end of act 2 just so I can recruit her but NOT take her down to the mindflayer colony, I'm already in act 3 in Wyrm's Crossing, i'd loose too much playtime. Also the Ketheric fight is a pain in the ass on tactician.
