- Is it just split-screen or regular gameplay as well that crashes?
- Have you tried verifying the game through Steam?
- Have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to cleanly wipe out the drivers and reinstall them cleanly?

https://larian.com/support/baldur-s-gate-3#modalAlthough the frustration is understandable because the game didn't launch in the best shape as one would like, the issues will get fixed over time. Vulgarity and cursing won't really speed things up nor prompt Larian to respond.
A lot of people do not have any tech issues, which is why it's important to take the time to properly report issues through official channels so they can get caught and fixed.
