I think i stumbled upon an issue with the Thiefs Guild.
Before i met the thiefs guild i visited the The Counting House and all the guard were alerted when i tried to read the mind of one of the npc. I ran away without killing anyone. I later met the thiefs guild and got the quest to get rid of the stone lord where i have to go to the The Counting House. The guards are still hostile which doesn't make sense. I think either the thief guild should not trust me and don't give me the quest or the guards should be resetted in this case.
