Gale and Wyll seem the least over the top, and Shadowheart becomes much more normie once you snap her out of her Shar phase. Halsin is fine when he's not on his refugee or poly soapbox. Lazael and Karlach are too exaggerated, and Astarion is a selfish, sociopathic ass who just rationalizes his treatment of others with "but what about me and muh trauma".
