I think Alfira would make a fine addition as a bonus companion along with Minthara/Halsin/Jaheira/Minsk. Her story arc would involve going from a helpless Tiefling to someone who fights to protect the helpless.
A motivation that was hinted at if you play the Dark Urge. She would be recruitable at the point she asks to join your camp (but not if you're playing as the Dark Urge).
We could get a more in-depth backstory involving her mentor and her own ambitions etc.
