My favorite companion in EA was Lae'zel. My favorite companion in the finished game is still Lae'zel because she has always be awesome >:D
Big disappointment for me was Gale. I was lukewarm towards him at the beginning of EA but after some time he had grown on me quite a bit only to have his backstory changed and now he's really one note and his story is soooo deus-ex-machina-y. What a downgrade.
