Hi everyone! I read on a post that you should max Assassin's Kiss, but I cannot find a powerfull dagger to use. All the dagger I find is 17(I think) to 31. Where will I be able to get stronger ones (and is there such thing).
I also forget to mention I start to play this game last week <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

shouldn't u be finding like 30-50 daggers, with like frost 3 or lightning 2, or stuff like that? i must have had 20 daggers like that at the edn, with selling alot!

Other than random finds, there are a couple potentially good knives always in the game. There is one in a chest in the back of Kistandalius' shop in Ars Magicana, but you only get one brief change to get back there for it and the spell book. The other can be chosen at the end of the holy item quest (which occurs later in the game, requiring a visit to the castle, Verdistis and the Dark Forest).
There are many more good quality swords, which are much more powerful, though not as thief-like.

I found a few daggers worth a lot of gold, but never paid attention to the stats.

if you can sneak into the back of Kristandlus's ??(sp) shop
while the "fat guy sings" out front...
...you may be able to get a hold of a very nicely "statted" dagger..

It is not uncommon for similar posts to be made within a minute or two of each other. I once re-loaded a topic to check for replies (none), fixed a small typo in mine, then posted... two people got ahead of me, with all three posts submitted in the same minute. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Oops! Sorry.. I was referring to what was mentioned about Kistandalius' shop.

just get the dagger, there should be a book back there, buts its not that great, unless its elemental strike (thats good, if ur at level under 10 and get it, kill orks and level up!)

The poet is there only ONCE. If you fail to grab the stuff when the shopkeeper is listening to the poems, you could never go back in that room: whatever you do, K. magics you out and might even call the guards.

um isnt there a way to get the spell book the 2nd time if u fail the first something about wizards sight?

yep,. wizzard site, and telakanetiks should work, but ya' need like level 5 of telelentetiks (sp?).

how many people are going to be ur henchmen? hey DATD, i did a thing u should know about ( <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" />), I killed seth, the knight, then I was nice enough to reserect him, and run away, then he went evil again... in the end I got like 10 swords, and lots of exp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> try try it with the dragon rider at the bgging too.

As much as I need to own an Army of Darkness® ;0).

Alright, after playing a Survivor on Very Hard, I figured out that I don't need a weapon at all: with all the traps I find and spells I steal, I am a butt-kicking machine! I trap an area, attract monsters and voila! I really hope Larian will add an "Impossible" difficulty level... Meantime I am playing Commandos 2.

"Impossible" difficulty?? I am barely making it on "Normal" mode <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />
