Hi all

I just encounterd my first Problem on PS After my char during the introduction and char creation there whas no problem. The problem started the moment i got to Shadowheart in the pod.
I dont know if anybody else has this problem with sound. Pretty annoying i must say. I know its just released like 1 hour ago so i expected some isseu here and there. I aint realy complaing because after 100 hours on pc and no problems.
Just a message to adress a problem to help improve the game experiance on PS5.

I am experiencing the issue as well. I saw a thread on reddit with multiple people having the same issue. You can save and restart the game for a quick fix, but the sound will cut out again after a short time.

The issue is in game, PS5 still has sound.

I have this issue with my pulse 3d audio headset on my PS5. At random points in the game, the game sound cuts out, I know it's not an issue with the headset as I can hear other sounds such as the menu sounds from the console if I press the PlayStation button to bring up the console menu.

A temporary workaround that seems to work for me is to plug a wired headset into the controller and unplug it. Then the audio in the pulse headset resumes.

Are you guys using pulse audio headsets, wired ones or TV audio?

Hello! The team is currently looking into this issue. In the meantime, please try the following workaround:
Disable 3D Audio. Go to Settings > Sound > 3D Audio for Headphones.

Thx for the advice. Seems to be working just fine now. 3D audio setting is set off now.

I've got the same problem, the only way I can get audio is by disabling Dolby Atmos on my PS5.

Having a problem with some sound. Cutscenes with NPC's not in my party have no sound so have to follow along with subtitles.

Changing to headset, switching audio to force mono, and altering sound output on the PS5 have no impact on the issue.

Solved this issue by turning on 3D sound, turning it off and restarting the game.

(this relates only to the NPC voice audio. I didn't have the full no sound issue)
