No! Game is way to easy for the most part, and yes Im playing on Tactical mode. If your going to add difficulties, then atleast add a harder one than tactical. If you want to add an easier than explorer then go ahead, but what would that look like? One hit kills every enemy?

EDIT:
Some helpful tips:
- Every enemy has weaknesses or dmg types that they are not resistant to, click examine (T)
- Towards the end of ACT 2 and a lot of act 3: Have a warlock or a wizard in your party with counterspell.
- Use AoE spells, and summon spells in act 3 if you find it hard (Minor elemental, deva, Summon elemental etc etc).
- Have a healer in your party.
- Make sure your characters are equpped well. There are several good combos.
- After long rests in ACT 3, if you know your going into heavy combat, use elixirs, and buff your party.
- I have a 2x restore a spell slot necklaces (between lvl 1-3 and 1-6), I start every morning after long rest by using a lvl 3 Aid and a Heroes Feast (lvl 6), equip the necklaces and restore the spell slots.
It also gives quite a lot of food, but theres so much food/provisions in this game its not really needed.
- Party composition is key if you find it hard, healer, spellcaster, tank/melee and then a whatever.
- Use the terrain
- Make sure you have the spells you need prepared.
-As for other preparing spells, if you have Jaheira or Gale in party, you can cast Longstrider on whole party without expending spell slots..
- You can do this one whenever, but after a certain story point in act 2 I respecced Shadowheart into a life cleric, makes more sense after her choice, and its so much better. Trickster cleric is possibly the weakest subclass for Cleric, fun as it is in tabletop D&D, you dont get to use their perks too much in BG3

EDIT 2: THis one goes without saying but make sure Gale learns all the spells you pick up from scrolls. You might not find much more than 1 or 2 of certain spells.
