Hi,


as I played Divinity Original Sin I wondered why there is no option to disable stealing when not intended.
This helped a LOT in previous titles and is missing here.
You have to be extremely careful when exploring areas where you can steal items very easily.

Please add this (again) as it helped a lot.

Niche problem, probably only you and 2 other people have this kind of problem. So it's not worth it to implement.

I never really *had* any problem but had to indeed carefully hover the mouse around in populated areas, so I can see the usefulness of it.

Definitely not a niche problem. I have absolutely stolen accidentally through misclicks multiple times in this game.

This issue is new to me. Granted, they should likely move the control to another key or something, but I'd rather see a lot of other things than a way to disable it.

If the item turns red then taking it is stealing also the game gives you a warning, then gives you options to get out of it. What more is necessary?

Never got a warning. I just took it.
Of course you see it's red, but on controller stopping your move not always works in time.
