Respec is literally a limited ingame character editor.
Fixing picking the wrong Oath for your Paladin is exactly one of the things it was meant to do.
As well as any other error you did during levelup.
By the way as far as I know Oathbreakers cannot use the Respec anymore, at least that was claimed by some in this forum, so in that regard, thats already in the game.
